Call To Action

1. Reach out to three (3) family members or friends and check that they are registered to vote and that they have a voting plan OR

2. Find (3) people to participate in one of these Get Out the Vote volunteer initiatives

The political news is relentless – President Trump knew in February how dangerous COVID-19 was and lied about it; the Department of Homeland Security is covering up Russian interference in the 2020 election and the ignoring the dangers of white supremacist domestic terrorists; White House staff are actively distorting data from the Centers for Disease Control needed for an effective response to the pandemic. Meanwhile, the climate news is beyond heart breaking – cataclysmic fires in the West, non-stop hurricanes in the South and the disappearance of essential polar ice caps. Amid all this news and noise, defeating Trump and his gang of enabling Republicans is still our best act of resistance.

With Trump and his allies continually asserting that the election will be rigged, we need high volume voter turnout for a resounding Trump and Republican defeat on November 3 that can’t be ignored or beaten back with false claims of election fraud. This week we need you to find more people to do this work with you. 

Reach out to three (3) individuals in your family, friend and professional networks and check that they are registered to vote and that they have a voting plan. 

If you’ve already done this, then find (3) people to volunteer with you to Get Out the Vote. Here’s our list of suggested ways you can get involved in this effort. Call it a pod, a support group, a team - whatever strikes your fancy. Give yourselves a name if that helps and set aside time each week to meet virtually (or socially distanced) and deepen your efforts to vote out Trump together.

On November 4th you will want to know that you did everything humanly possible to vote Trump out.
